Last Day In Newcastle....

Well...it's finally time to go home... Can't really say that I'm not looking forward to going home but think I'll be missing Newcastle very much, all the wonderful friendship and memories that we shared. Time really flies manz! 4 mths ago we jus reached Newcastle and were so excited about the place, about the cool weather and now it's time to go back. Anyway, it has been a great experience on the whole, having a taste of the English culture which is apparently not what I expected it to be.

The day before, we had a farewell chinese buffet lunch with our Singaporean lecturer, Ming and the 3 poly chem eng students Delwyn, Darren and Shuling. Edelene who had just came over for exchange in Newcastle also joined us for the lunch. Ming was such a nice guy. He treated all us to the lunch.

Later in the evening, we went over to Regent's place to 'lao yu shen'. Well.. it was the eve of CNY eve and we had our own kinda celebration. After that, we went to an open field to light the fireworks that Zhen Siong bought before heading down to chiong in one of the clubs. We intended to get high and drunk that nite but the drinks were not as cheap as we thought they were...hehee..so budget lor!
