Milan - Italy / Isle of Skye / 20 Days Europe Trip !!!The date of entry may sound that I'm blogging about the recent stuffs happening to me but well... as the title of the entry suggests...it's not!! Hahaha!!! This is about the milan and isle of skye trip on the 2nd Dec and 9th Dec respectively. You can really see the amount of back dating I have to do manz! Nonetheless I'll try to fill in as much details as possible for all the trips but guess I'll upload more pics than words..wahahaha...
Milan - Italy
It was Thursday afternoon and as usual we had to rush to the airport after handing in our assignments. We reached Milan 2 hrs later and checked in to our hostel. Well...I can say that this is the worst hostel so far. The bunks are small and the lockers are located outside the bunk. The toilet is even worse, quite similar to the one in the army except that it is even jialet!! The worse thing is that they do not have a seat for the toilet bowl!! OMG!! Oh... another thing I dislike about Italy is that the people there are very rude and hostile.
We went to the Duomo, supposedly the third biggest cathedral in the world. The amazing thing about the cathedral is that the whole building is made of marble. We went up to the top and the view was simply brillant. We could see the entire Milan city.
Well...being the fashion capital of the world, branded boutique shops, such as Prada, Gucci etc etc are found almost everywhere in the city. You can say that Milan is a heaven for the girls manz. Besides, you can also see posh ferraris parked at the side of most roads. We went to the Leonardo da Vinci museum which displays his clever inventions and artistic creations.
The most memorable experience is definitely snowing in Milan. This is the first time I saw snow! It was Beautiful! We also made a snowman!
Isle of Skye - Scotland
We joined a 4 days/3nite highland tour in Scotland. Well...the scenery is marvelous! The pictures will tell it all manz!!
20 days Europe trip
Well...it's kinda hard to describe the trip in detail and I also how to start too. Anyway, I'll just start with our route. We flew to Barcelona from London, then took a train to Nice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Interlaken, Lucern, Zurich, Paris then finally back to Newcastle. Jolene, Joreen, Bingshu, Zhen Hao, Meifen joined us from Singapore on this trip. So you can say that it is a rather big group, a total of 8 ppl!!
We met up with Tee Hoon in Rome on Christmas Day and was so shocked to hear that he was robbed in Marseille. At least he din get hurt. The most memorable event is sleighing in Switzerland. It was great! The snow white mountain and coniferous tree made the experience even more wonderful!
Met up with Jasmine and Eufo in Paris on the 31 Dec. It was really some kinda chem eng gathering and we did lots of crazy stuffs in Paris which I'm not so proud to reveal in my blog...hehe...
On the whole, it was a great experience and an eye wonder, but it was quite tiring!
